Aigburth MHA

Aigburth is one of the oldest established Methodist Homes in the country. The original house was donated in 1963. The new building, completed in 2012, is set in landscaped grounds set back from the original house on Manor Road, Oadby, within easy reach of the University Botanic gardens.

There are 56 rooms on 3 floors, each with its own dining room and lounge area. Services are held on Sundays at 4.00pm and on Wednesdays at 11.00 am. These mid week services are supported by a Chaplaincy team which includes local preachers and worship leaders and volunteers from the circuit. There are 2 part time chaplains, Phil Williams and Emma Hurley. Family and friends are encouraged to visit whenever they wish and are welcome to join residents for a meal for a small fee.
