Rev. Christopher Nyarko Andam is a Methodist Minister from Ghana, currently appointed to serve in the United Kingdom. He is to undertake a 50-50 role between the Leicester Trinity Circuit and the Ghanaian Methodist Fellowship. In this capacity, he will serve as a Minister on a part-time basis and also fulfill his duties as the Coordinator for the Language and Culture Societies within the Ghanaian Community in the UK. At the Leicester Trinity Circuit, he will be responsible for the Uppingham Road and Wesley Hall congregations.
Rev. Andam was commissioned into the Ministry in 1992 at the age of 28 and has held various ministerial positions across Ghana. Given Ghana’s rich cultural and linguistic diversity, he is accustomed to working within varied community settings. While he appreciates traditional liturgical worship, he remains adaptable to different styles to engage the diverse interests of congregants.
Rev. Andam is married to Mrs. Beatrice Andam, and they have been blessed with four children: three sons and one daughter. The Andam family is enthusiastic about their new role and looks forward to contributing to the spiritual life of Leicester and the broader UK Methodist community
